Filmmaker, Nora Jacobson, has put together a cast of local actors to read the winning screenplay of this year's White River Indie Films Screenplay Contest. WRIF presents a screenplay reading of "Beau's Art" by Bob Nutt with Joe Applegate, Faith Catlin, Sean D'Angelo, Dan Deneen, John Greisemer, Roberto Hernandez, Helen Jack, Neal Meglathery, and Duncan Nichols. For more information on the reading, visit wrif.org. Roberto will also be working with Nora Jacobson on various other projects this month. Kyle is busy in the studio gathering information and building a killer audio/video production room.

Gusanoz re-introduced its first ever commercial (created by Raza Films) this month with a new voice-over and a second TV-spot to air in counter-attack. Nick Yager, owner of the Mexican restaurant, spent some time in the studio mixing in the new track. Earlier this month; local rapper/songwriter, Josh Douglas AKA Douggy Mack, worked with Kyle and Roberto as they expanded their studio to include studio-audio production. "It was cool working out the kinks and getting free studio time to be creative and work on new material".

Hats off to Kim Souza of Revolution Vintage for another successful Fall Fashion Show! Thirty-four models worked their fashion moxy in front of a full house at the Tip Top Cafe in WRJ. All proceeds went to the Youth-Managed Cafe. Roberto was brought in as videographer; shooting footage of before, during and after the event. Raza Films made a personal copy of the show on DVD for Revolution Vintage. The Tip Top also put on a killer Halloween party with Raza's Sarah Matthews AKA DJ Press Play, mixin' up the beats.

This month is about experience. Roberto is working with homeless outreach, learning about state laws and the rights of its citizens. As an outreach worker, he is meeting with people experiencing homelessness and speaking with activists in the community. Research is also being done on what is available for the homeless in our community and in the state of New Hampshire. Roberto has also spoken out about the absence of support for unaccompanied youth in NH. In September, a conference was held in the state's capitol about the rights of minors and unaccompanied youth in the United States. Roberto pointed out that while McKinney-Vento laws were important; they were hardly being exercised in NH because there are no organizations in place to benefit from them. This month, Kyle Batley is experiencing life abroad, in England and parts of Europe. He is learning customs and daily routines, experiencing a different way of life. Kyle has promised to bring back lots of pictures from his journey with friends as they tour different cities and partake in activities. The best way to gain experience is to go out and live it. Experience is the best teacher.

This month is filled with tons of fun, short projects, coming soon to CATV or a You-Tube screen near you. The hot latin rhythms of the Black Beans can also soon be heard off their new website which is being created by Raza Films.
